Walking
From the center of Zaanse Schans, head towards the main road (Zaanse Schans). Follow the signs towards the Zaan River and cross the bridge. Continue walking along the riverbank, enjoying the scenic views of the windmills. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction where you can turn left onto the Koog aan de Zaan road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will find the World of Windmills on your right at the address 1541 HE Koog aan de Zaan.

Bicycle
For a quicker route, you can rent a bicycle in Zaanse Schans. Start from the main entrance of Zaanse Schans and head towards the Zaan River. From there, follow the bike path along the river. After about 10 minutes of cycling, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Koog aan de Zaan road and continue cycling for another 5 minutes. The World of Windmills will be on your right at 1541 HE Koog aan de Zaan. Be sure to check if there are any bike rental fees at your starting point.

If you prefer public transport, start by taking a bus from Zaanse Schans. Look for bus number 391 towards Koog aan de Zaan. The bus stop is located near the entrance of Zaanse Schans. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Koog aan de Zaan, Wereld van Windmolens'. From there, it's just a short walk to the entrance of World of Windmills. Be sure to check the local bus schedules for any potential fare costs.

If you are driving, start by heading south on the Zaanse Schans road. After about 500 meters, turn onto the A8 highway towards Amsterdam. Take exit 3 towards Koog aan de Zaan. Follow the signs for Koog aan de Zaan for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs for World of Windmills as you approach. There is parking available near the entrance. Please note that parking might incur an hourly fee.
