Car
If you are driving from Zaanstreek, enter the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and follow signs for the A9 towards Haarlem. Take the exit for Uitgeest (N203) and continue on this road until you reach Busch en Dam. Fort aan den Ham will be located at Busch en Dam 13, 1911 MS Uitgeest. There are parking facilities available near the fort.

To reach Fort aan den Ham using public transportation, take a train from Zaandam Station to Uitgeest Station. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Uitgeest Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus line 162 towards Castricum. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Busch en Dam' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Fort aan den Ham located at Busch en Dam 13. Please check the schedules and possible costs for the train and bus on the NS website or the local bus service.
