Bus

From downtown Carson City, head to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Carson and Second Streets. Take the 'Route 21' bus heading towards South Lake Tahoe. Bicycle

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Carson City. Start your journey by heading west on US-50 from downtown. Continue for about 12 miles, following the bike lane along the highway. Once you reach the intersection with Highway 89, turn left and continue for another 5 miles. Look for W Lake Blvd on your right. Follow this road for a short distance until you reach the entrance to Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park.
