    From downtown Carson City, head to the nearest bus stop located at the corner of Carson and Second Streets. Take the 'Route 21' bus heading towards South Lake Tahoe. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89. From there, transfer to the 'Route 19' bus towards Tahoma. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Tahoma stop. Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park is a short 10-minute walk along W Lake Blvd. Follow the road until you see the park entrance on your right.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Carson City. Start your journey by heading west on US-50 from downtown. Continue for about 12 miles, following the bike lane along the highway. Once you reach the intersection with Highway 89, turn left and continue for another 5 miles. Look for W Lake Blvd on your right. Follow this road for a short distance until you reach the entrance to Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park.

Walk along W Lake Blvd for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the entrance of Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park.
