Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are staying in downtown Elko, start at the Elko Convention Center located at 700 Moren Way. Head south on Moren Way toward Idaho Street. Turn right onto Idaho Street and walk for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with Railroad Street. Turn left onto Railroad Street, and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. The Western Folklife Center will be on your left at 501 Railroad St. You should see the entrance clearly marked.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are near the Elko Transit bus stop, take the Route 1 bus towards the Elko Plaza. Ride until you reach the stop at Idaho Street and Railroad Street. From there, disembark and walk south on Railroad Street for about 0.1 miles. The Western Folklife Center will be on your right at 501 Railroad St.
