Getting There

  • Car

    From the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center, head southeast on NV-487 for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the junction with NV-21. Turn left onto NV-21 and continue for about 15 miles. Look for signs indicating Lexington Arch Trailhead. The trailhead is located on the left side of the road, and parking is available.

  • Public Transportation and Hiking

    While public transportation directly to Lexington Arch Trailhead is limited, you can take a Greyhound bus to Ely, Nevada. From Ely, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Great Basin National Park. Once in the park, follow directions for driving (as above) or consider hiking from a nearby location if you are equipped for it.

  • Bicycle

    If you are biking from the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center, take NV-487 southeast for 2.5 miles, then switch to NV-21 heading south. Be cautious of vehicle traffic as you travel along the road, which can be narrow in sections. The Lexington Arch Trailhead will be on your left after approximately 15 miles.
