Car
From the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center, head southeast on NV-487 toward US-6. After about 30 miles, turn left onto US-50 E. Continue on US-50 E for approximately 50 miles until you reach Austin, NV. Once in Austin, turn right onto NV-844, and follow the signs for Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park. The park entrance is about 15 miles down NV-844. Keep in mind that there is a small entrance fee of approximately $10 per vehicle.
Public Transportation + Car
If you are using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Ely, NV, which is the closest major town with bus services. From Ely, you will need to rent a car or find a taxi service to take you to Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park. The drive from Ely to the park is about 90 miles via US-50 W. Follow US-50 W to Austin, NV, then turn right onto NV-844 to reach the park. Be aware that car rentals may vary in price and availability.
