Merge onto US-6 N and continue for about 25 miles until you arrive at the town of Ely. From Ely, take NV-318 N for about 35 miles. Then, turn left onto Ephraim Canyon Rd, and you will find Great Basin Station at the end of this road. Make sure to check your fuel levels, as services may be sparse along this route.
Public Transportation
There are limited public transportation options available in this remote area. The nearest bus station is in Ely. From Ely, you can take a local taxi service or ride-share to Great Basin Station. Be sure to contact the taxi service in advance to arrange for pick-up, as they may not have regular service to more remote attractions.
Walking
If you are within a short distance from Great Basin Station and prefer walking, make sure to have a reliable map or GPS. Ephraim Canyon Rd is a rural road, so take care when walking along the shoulder. It's advisable to walk during the day to ensure safety. If you don’t have a personal vehicle, consider combining this with a ride-sharing service to get closer to the station.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike along Ephraim Canyon Rd. Make sure to wear a helmet and reflective gear, as some parts of the road may not have a dedicated bike lane. The ride can be scenic but may be challenging due to elevation changes. Ensure your bike is in good working condition and bring plenty of water.
