Getting There

Public Bus
From downtown Reno, locate the RTC (Reno Transit) bus stop at 4th St & Virginia St. Board the Route 19 bus, which heads towards Kings Beach. Stay on the bus for approximately 1 hour. The bus will take you along the scenic Lake Tahoe route. Be sure to alert the driver to stop at the Kings Beach stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the beach area, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Reno. Start at the Reno Riverwalk, heading northwest towards Lake Tahoe.
