    From Reno, head to the nearest bus stop and take the RTC bus route 19 towards 'North Valleys'. Make sure to check the schedule for the bus times. After approximately 1 hour, you will arrive at the 'Stateline' stop. From there, transfer to the route 21 bus towards 'Tahoe City'. This bus will take you directly to Tahoe City. Once you reach Tahoe City, walk north on North Lake Boulevard for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Tahoe City Kayak and Paddleboard Shop at 521 N Lake Blvd.

  • Bicycle

    If you are feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Reno. Start from downtown Reno and follow the Truckee River bike path heading west. Stay on the path until you reach the Lake Tahoe area, which is approximately a 2-hour ride. Once you arrive in Tahoe City, continue along North Lake Boulevard for about 5 minutes until you reach the shop at 521 N Lake Blvd.
