From the center of Tahoe City, head east on North Lake Boulevard (CA-28). Continue walking along the lakeside for approximately 0.5 miles. You will pass several scenic spots and parks. Keep an eye out for the entrance to the Lake Tahoe Dam, which will be on your left. The dam is located at the end of the road, and you will see clear signage. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.

If you have a bike, start at the Tahoe City Commons Beach area. Follow the bike path to the east, which runs parallel to North Lake Boulevard (CA-28). Continue on the path for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Lake Tahoe Dam. This route is bike-friendly and offers beautiful views of the lake along the way. The biking trip will take around 5-10 minutes depending on your pace.

Take the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus from the Tahoe City Transit Center. Look for the bus heading towards Kings Beach or Northstar.
