You will pass through the charming downtown area of Tahoe City. Once you reach Commons Beach, you will find it on your right at 400 N Lake Blvd, where the beach area opens up to beautiful views of Lake Tahoe.
Biking
For those with access to a bicycle, starting from the Tahoe City Visitor Center at 100 N Lake Blvd, head north on N Lake Blvd and continue for about 0.6 miles. This route is bike-friendly and allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive at Commons Beach, located at 400 N Lake Blvd, you can lock your bike at the bicycle racks available near the entrance.

If you prefer to take public transportation, look for the TART (Tahoe Area Regional Transit) bus service. You can catch the bus at any local stop in Tahoe City. Board the bus heading towards North Lake Tahoe and get off at the stop closest to Commons Beach.
