Car
From Ruby Mountains, head east toward Elko on NV-225. Continue on NV-225 until you reach the junction with US-93. Take US-93 south toward Spring Creek. After about 26 miles, take a right turn onto NF-660, which is the entrance to Lamoille Canyon Scenic Byway. Follow NF-660 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the scenic viewpoints and other attractions along the byway.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options are limited in the Ruby Mountains area. However, if you are able to reach Elko via bus services, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from Elko to Spring Creek. Once in Spring Creek, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare to NF-660, as there are no direct public transport routes to Lamoille Canyon Scenic Byway.
