From Walker Lake, head south on NV-95 S towards Yerington. Continue on NV-95 S for about 20 miles. Take the exit for NV-208 W towards Yerington. After about 5 miles, turn right onto E Walker Rd. Continue for about 1 mile, and you will find the entrance to Walker River State Recreation Area on your left. Make sure to have a map or GPS handy, as cell service can be spotty in the area.
