Getting There

Bus
From downtown Carson City, walk to the nearest bus stop on Carson Street. Take the Douglas County route towards Lake Tahoe. Make sure to ask the driver for the best drop-off point for Palisades Tahoe, as they can guide you. The bus will take you through beautiful landscapes, and you will need to get off at the closest stop to Olympic Valley, which is usually near Truckee. From there, you may need to catch a local shuttle or taxi to reach Palisades Tahoe, which is about 15 minutes away.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Carson City. Head north on Carson Street, then take a right onto Highway 50. Follow the bike lane on the highway, which will eventually lead you towards Lake Tahoe. The ride is approximately 30 miles and will take you through scenic areas. Be sure to follow the signs towards Olympic Valley and Palisades Tahoe as you approach the area.

If you prefer to walk, start from downtown Carson City and head towards the Carson River. Follow the walking trails along the river which will lead you towards the outskirts of the city. After approximately 5 miles, you'll reach the bus station. From there, take the bus route towards Lake Tahoe as mentioned previously. Walking to this point will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours.

For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to Palisades Tahoe using your app. The driver will take you directly to the resort, which will take around 45 minutes depending on traffic.
