Car
If you're driving from the center of Canala, head southeast on Route Territoriale 1 (RT1) towards the town of Hienghène. Continue on RT1 for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route de Ouaième (RPN3). Turn right onto RPN3 and follow the road for about 7 kilometers. You will arrive at Ouaième Ferry, which is located on your right, just before the water.
Public Transportation
To reach Ouaième Ferry by public transport, start at the Canala bus station. Look for the bus heading towards Hienghène, which usually operates several times a day. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at the intersection with RPN3. The fare is approximately 500 XPF. After disembarking, walk along RPN3 for about 7 kilometers towards the ferry terminal, which will be on your right. Note that public transport may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
