Car
From Canala, head south on Route de la Côte Est (N3) towards Nouméa. Continue for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours until you reach the outskirts of Nouméa. Take the exit toward Ouen Toro Hill, which is well-marked. Follow the signs to Ouen Toro Hill, and you will arrive at the entrance of the hiking area where you can park your car.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Canala to Nouméa. Buses are available at the local bus terminal and the journey will take around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Nouméa, you may need to transfer to a local bus that goes to Ouen Toro Hill. Check the local bus schedules for routes and times. Ensure you have local currency for the bus fare, which may range from 300 to 500 XPF (Pacific Franc). After arriving at the nearest bus stop to Ouen Toro Hill, you will have a short walk to the entrance of the hiking area.
