Car
From your location in Maré, start by heading towards the main road leading to the port area. Follow the signs towards the ferry terminal. Once you reach the terminal, you will need to take a ferry to Nouméa. The ferry ride takes approximately 1.5 hours, and you should check the schedule for the latest departure times and ticket prices, which typically range from 1,500 to 3,000 XPF (New Caledonian Francs). Upon arrival in Nouméa, drive towards the south along Route Territoriale 1 (RT1) towards the city center. Continue to follow signs for Route 1 until you reach the area near the address PCPX+PWG. Look for Notre Dame Du Pacifique, which is situated near the coastline and is hard to miss due to its prominent structure. There is parking available around the area.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at your accommodation or a central location in Maré. Head to the local bus station and take a bus to the ferry terminal. The bus fare is usually around 200 XPF. From the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nouméa, which takes about 1.5 hours. After arriving in Nouméa, you can either take a local taxi or use public transportation to reach Route 1.
