Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Nouméa. Drive east on Route Territoriale 1 (RT1) towards the Port de Pêche. Once you reach the port, look for signs to the Amédée Lighthouse taxi boat service. The journey from Nouméa to the port is approximately 45 minutes. Please note that parking may be limited, so plan accordingly.
Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Nouméa to the Port de Pêche. The bus service operates regularly, and you can check the local bus schedules for the latest timings. Once you arrive at the port, proceed to the Amédée Lighthouse taxi boat service area. The boat ride to the lighthouse takes around 20 minutes, and tickets can be purchased at the port. The price for the boat ride is approximately 30,000 XPF (New Caledonian Francs) round trip.
