Getting There

    From Tiga, head southeast on Route de Tiga towards the main road. After about 10 km, follow the signs to the ferry terminal for Ouvéa Island. The ferry terminal is located at the village of Lifou. This drive should take approximately 15 minutes. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Ouvéa Island. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour and there is usually a fee of around 3000 XPF (New Caledonian Francs) for a round trip.

    If you are using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in Tiga. Take a bus heading towards Lifou, which should take about 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Lifou, you will need to walk to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to Ouvéa Island. Make sure to check the bus schedules beforehand as they may vary.
