Bus
From Exeter, head to the nearest bus stop on Epping Road. Take the 55 bus towards Newburyport. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Rockport stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Front Beach. Head southeast on Main St toward Broadway, then turn left onto Broadway and continue until you reach the beach.

Walk to the Exeter Train Station located at 2 Lincoln St. Take the Amtrak Downeaster towards Boston. After about 40 minutes, get off at the Rockport station. Once you arrive, the Front Beach is about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on Railroad Ave, then turn right onto Main St and follow it until you reach Front Beach.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Exeter. Start your journey on Epping Road heading towards the coast. Follow the bike paths leading to Rockport. It’s roughly a 12-mile ride that should take about an hour, depending on your pace. Once in Rockport, follow the signs to Front Beach.

For the adventurous, consider walking. Start from the center of Exeter and head towards Swasey Parkway. Follow the path leading to Epping Road. It’s about a 12-mile walk which could take around 4-5 hours. Make sure to stay hydrated and take breaks as needed. When you reach Rockport, navigate to Front Beach as described in previous options.
