Take the Advance Transit bus from downtown Hanover. Board the 'Route 7' bus from the stop at the corner of Main Street and Lebanon Street. The bus runs every hour. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Route 25 and Lake Tarleton Road. From there, it is a 1.5-mile walk to Lake Tarleton State Park. Follow Lake Tarleton Road straight, and you will arrive at the park entrance.
Bicycle
You can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Hanover. Once you have your bike, head east on Main Street and take a right onto Route 120. Follow Route 120 for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 25. Turn left onto Route 25 and continue for another 5 miles. Make a right onto Lake Tarleton Road, and the park entrance will be on your left after about 1 mile.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Lake Tarleton State Park. Start at the center of Hanover and head east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 120. Cross Route 120 and continue onto Route 25. Walk along Route 25 for about 6 miles until you see Lake Tarleton Road on your left. Turn onto Lake Tarleton Road, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the park entrance.
Ride-sharing
Use a ride-sharing app like Uber or Lyft to get to Lake Tarleton State Park. Simply enter 'Lake Tarleton State Park' as your destination in the app. The driver should take Lake Tarleton Road from Route 25, leading you directly to the park entrance. This is the most convenient option if you prefer not to walk or bike.
