Getting There

• Car

Take the exit onto Route 28 South towards Conway. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Passaconaway Road. The Albany Covered Bridge will be approximately 1 mile down Passaconaway Road on your right. Parking is available near the bridge.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Albany Covered Bridge via public transportation, first take the Eastern Trailways bus from North Conway to Conway. From Conway, you may need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare to cover the 10-minute drive to Passaconaway Road. Alternatively, check with local businesses for any shuttle services that may be available for tourists. Be sure to confirm the fare with your taxi or rideshare driver as costs can vary.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can start from North Conway and take the scenic route along Route 16 North. The distance is approximately 12 miles, and it will take you through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach the junction with Route 28, continue as previously described, turning left onto Passaconaway Road. The Albany Covered Bridge is about 1 mile down this road. Ensure you have a helmet and follow all biking safety regulations.

• Walking

  For adventurous tourists, if you are staying nearby, consider walking to Albany Covered Bridge. From North Conway, it is about a 12-mile walk along Route 16 North. This is a long trek, so ensure you are well-prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach the junction with Route 28, turn onto Passaconaway Road and walk for about another mile to the bridge. This option is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
