Getting There

  • Bus

    From downtown Nashua, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the Nashua Transit System's Route 5 bus heading towards the Massachusetts border. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop for the Merrimack Premium Outlets. From there, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading towards Lowell, MA. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Main Street and Route 3A. From there, follow Main Street north for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Battle Rd Trail.

  • Bicycle

    If you're comfortable cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Nashua. Start from the Nashua River Rail Trail, which is accessible at several points throughout the city. Head north along the trail towards the Massachusetts border. Once you reach the end of the trail, continue on local roads following the signs to the Battle Rd Trail. The ride is approximately 5 miles and will take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, head to the Nashua Riverwalk which starts near Greeley Park. Follow the riverwalk path north until you reach the intersection with Broad Street. Turn right on Broad Street, then left at the traffic light onto Main Street. Continue walking north along Main Street for about 2 miles. You'll cross into Massachusetts, and after another 1 mile, you'll see the entrance to the Battle Rd Trail on your right.
