Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Southern New Hampshire, head towards Route 95 North. Depending on your starting point, this may involve getting onto Route 101 East or other local roads that connect to 95. Once on Route 95 North, continue for about 30 miles until you reach Exit 7 for Portsmouth. After exiting, turn left onto Market Street. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout; take the first exit onto Islington Street, and then turn left onto Hancock Street. Strawbery Banke Museum will be on your left at 14 Hancock St, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Parking is available nearby, but note that there may be a parking fee.

  If you're using public transportation, you can take the C&J Bus from various locations in Southern New Hampshire, like Nashua or Manchester. The bus will drop you off in Portsmouth. From the bus station in Portsmouth, it's about a 15-minute walk to Strawbery Banke Museum. Head north on Market Street, then turn left onto Islington Street, and finally turn left onto Hancock Street. The museum is located at 14 Hancock St, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
