To reach Wyanokie High Point via car, start on Interstate 287. Take exit 55 for NJ-23 North towards Hamburg. Merge onto NJ-23 North and continue for about 10 miles. Look for signs for Wanaque, NJ. After entering Wanaque, turn left onto Wanaque Ave, then right onto High Mountain Rd. Follow High Mountain Rd until you reach the parking area at the trailhead for Wyanokie High Point. The GPS coordinates for the parking area are approximately 41.0609, -74.3277. Note that there may be a small parking fee, so bring some cash.

Public Transportation
If you are taking public transportation, start by getting to the nearest train station that services NJ Transit, such as the Hoboken Terminal. From Hoboken, take the NJ Transit train to the Pompton Lakes station. Once you arrive at Pompton Lakes, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Wanaque area. It is about a 15-minute drive from Pompton Lakes to the Wyanokie High Point parking area. Be sure to check the train and taxi schedules in advance to ensure smooth connections.

Once you've parked at the trailhead, follow the marked Appalachian Trail signs. The hike to Wyanokie High Point is approximately 2.5 miles from the parking area, and it is moderately challenging.
