Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already within Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, you can reach Mary Ellen Kramer Park by walking. Start at the Great Falls Visitor Center located at 72 McBride Ave, Paterson, NJ 07501. Head east on McBride Ave and turn left onto Market St. Continue on Market St until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn right onto Broadway and then left onto E 5th St. Follow E 5th St until you reach the entrance of Mary Ellen Kramer Park, which should be on your right. The walk is about 1.5 miles and should take approximately 30 minutes.

• Car

  If you're driving, start from the Great Falls Visitor Center at 72 McBride Ave, Paterson, NJ 07501. Head east on McBride Ave and make a left onto Market St. Continue straight and merge onto NJ-20 S. Exit onto the ramp for NJ-4 W towards Paramus. After about 2 miles, take the exit toward Goffle Rd. Turn left onto Goffle Rd, then continue straight until you reach Mary Ellen Kramer Park on your right. Parking might be available on-site, but check for any parking fees or restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transport, from the Great Falls Visitor Center, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop located at Market St and McBride Ave. Take the NJ Transit Bus #11 (towards Hackensack) and get off at the stop on Broadway at E 5th St. From there, it’s a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to Mary Ellen Kramer Park. Follow Broadway north and then take a left onto E 5th St, which will lead you to the park entrance. The bus fare is typically around $1.60, but ensure to check the latest fare on the NJ Transit website.
