Public Bus
From Cape May, you can take the NJ Transit bus route 313. Head to the nearest bus stop on the corner of West Perry Street and Ocean Street. Board the bus heading towards Cape May Court House. The journey typically takes about 30 minutes. You will want to disembark at the Cape May Court House stop. After getting off, walk north along Route 9 for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Cape May County Park & Zoo located at 707 US-9 North.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Cape May. Head out onto the Cape May-Lewes Ferry bike path, which leads north. Follow the bike path until you reach Route 9. Turn left onto Route 9 and continue heading north for about 3 miles. The zoo will be on your right at 707 US-9 North. Be sure to obey all traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety.

Walking
For those who enjoy walking, start from the center of Cape May. Head east on Washington Street toward the beach. Continue walking along the beach promenade until you reach Beach Avenue. Turn left on Beach Avenue and walk north until you reach Route 9. From there, turn left onto Route 9 and walk about 3 miles to Cape May County Park & Zoo, which will be on your right at 707 US-9 North. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
