Car

To reach Washington Crossing State Park from High Point State Park by car, start on NJ-23 S. Continue on NJ-23 S for approximately 17 miles until you reach the intersection with I-80 E. Merge onto I-80 E and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 34B for Route 295 S toward Trenton. After about 10 miles, take exit 76B for Route 1 S. Continue on Route 1 S for approximately 5 miles, then take exit for Washington Crossing (Route 546). Follow the signs for Washington Crossing State Park. The park entrance will be on your right. The total driving distance is approximately 45 miles and may take around 1 hour depending on traffic.
Public Transportation

To reach Washington Crossing State Park using public transportation, first take a NJ Transit train from the nearest station to High Point State Park (usually in Newton). Board a train heading towards Hoboken and transfer to a train heading to Trenton. From Trenton, take the NJ Transit bus number 601 towards Princeton. Get off at the stop closest to Washington Crossing State Park, which is near Route 546. The total trip may take around 2-3 hours, depending on transfer times. Please check the NJ Transit website for the latest schedules and any fares applicable, as a train ticket may cost around $15-$20.
