Ferry
From Hoboken, walk to the Hoboken Terminal located at 1 Hudson Place. Once there, head to the ferry terminal section. Purchase a ticket for the Staten Island Ferry. Board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride across the New York Harbor. Once you arrive at the St. George Terminal in Staten Island, exit the terminal and walk to the bus stop located nearby. Take the S40 bus towards Rosebank and get off at Hylan Blvd. The Alice Austen House will be a short walk from the bus stop.

From Hoboken Terminal, take the PATH train to World Trade Center station. At World Trade Center, transfer to the R train towards Bay Ridge-95th Street and get off at the Whitehall St. station. From there, walk to the Staten Island Ferry terminal and board the ferry to Staten Island. Once you arrive at St. George Terminal, take the S40 bus towards Rosebank and get off at Hylan Blvd. The Alice Austen House is a short walk from the bus stop.
