Ferry
From Hoboken, head to the Hoboken Terminal located at 1 Hudson Place. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the Staten Island Ferry. Board the ferry, which departs regularly, and enjoy the scenic ride across New York Harbor. After approximately 25 minutes, you will arrive at the St. George Terminal on Staten Island. Exit the ferry and follow signs to the Staten Island Railway.

Once you arrive at St. George Terminal, walk to the Staten Island Railway station, which is adjacent to the terminal. Take the train towards Tottenville. After 10 stops, disembark at the Great Kills station. From there, you can catch the local bus (S74) that will take you closer to your destination. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it may vary.

After getting off the bus, walk south on Amity Street for about 0.3 miles. The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grotto will be on your right at 36 Amity St. You will see the entrance, which is marked and easy to spot. Enjoy your visit!
