Getting There

  • Ferry

    To reach the Lower East Side in New York, you can take the NY Waterway Ferry from Hoboken Terminal. Start at the Hoboken Terminal located at 1 Hudson Place. Head to the ferry terminal at the waterfront. Purchase your ticket at the booth or use the app. Board the ferry to Wall Street/Pier 11, which takes about 8 minutes. Once you arrive at Wall Street, exit the ferry and walk towards the subway entrance at Wall Street Station.

  • Subway

    After exiting the ferry at Wall Street, walk one block to the Wall Street subway station (2/4 lines). Take the 4 or 5 train towards Brooklyn and get off at the next stop, which is Bowling Green. Transfer to the R or W line and ride towards Astoria-Ditmars Blvd. Get off at the Canal Street station. From there, walk east towards the Lower East Side for about 10 minutes.

  • Bus

    From Hoboken, you can also take NJ Transit Bus 126 from 1st Street and Washington Street. This bus will take you directly to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive at Port Authority, follow the signs to the subway. Take the A, C, or E train from 42nd Street-Port Authority and get off at the Canal Street station. From there, walk east towards the Lower East Side.
