    Getting There

    Ferry

    From Hoboken Terminal, head towards the waterfront and locate the NJ Transit ferry service. Purchase a ticket to Manhattan. Board the ferry heading to 34th Street or Wall Street. Once you arrive in Manhattan, exit the ferry and walk towards the subway station.

    Subway

    After exiting the ferry, follow the signs to the subway station. Take the 7 train from 34th Street-Hudson Yards or the 1 train from South Ferry. If you're at 34th Street, transfer at Times Square to the N, Q, R, or W lines. If you're at South Ferry, take the 1 train uptown.

    Walk

    Once you arrive at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle subway station, exit the station and head east towards the Hudson River. Walk along 59th Street until you reach the entrance to the Roosevelt Island Tramway. Board the tram, which will take you directly to Roosevelt Island.
