    Getting There

    PATH Train

    From anywhere in Hoboken, make your way to the Hoboken PATH station, which is located at 1 PATH Plaza. Once at the station, take a PATH train to the 33rd Street Station in Manhattan. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at 33rd Street, exit the station and walk to 6th Avenue.

    Subway

    After arriving at the 33rd Street PATH station, you can walk to the nearest subway station at 34th Street-Herald Square. Take the B, D, F, or M train downtown to 42nd Street-Bryant Park. From there, transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing and get off at 5th Avenue. Walk north towards Central Park.

    Walking

    Once you are at 5th Avenue, walk north towards Central Park. Continue walking until you reach 79th Street. The Shakespeare Garden is located at the 79th Street Transverse entrance of Central Park. It will be on your left as you enter the park.

    Bus

    Alternatively, from Hoboken, you can take the NJ Transit bus. Board the bus at any local stop and take it to Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. From the terminal, walk to 8th Avenue and take the A, C, or E subway uptown to 59th Street-Columbus Circle. From there, walk east into Central Park and head towards the 79th Street Transverse.
