PATH Train
From any location in Jersey City, make your way to the nearest PATH train station. If you're near the waterfront, the Exchange Place PATH station is a good option. Purchase a ticket to the 14th Street station in Manhattan. Board the PATH train heading towards World Trade Center. After approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at the 14th Street station. Once you exit the station, walk west on 14th Street until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left on 7th Avenue and walk south until you reach West 12th Street. Turn right on West 12th Street, and after a short walk, you'll find Cubbyhole at 281 W 12th St.
Ferry
Head to the nearest ferry terminal, which is likely the Paulus Hook Ferry or the Liberty State Park Ferry. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Manhattan. Once you arrive at the Manhattan terminal (usually either at Wall Street or 39th Street), walk towards the west side of Manhattan. If you land at Wall Street, proceed to the Bowling Green Park and then head north to reach 14th Street. Walk west on 14th Street until you reach 7th Avenue, then turn left on 7th Avenue and walk south to West 12th Street. Turn right onto West 12th Street, and Cubbyhole will be on your left at 281 W 12th St.
Bus
Check the NJ Transit or local bus schedules for a bus that goes to Manhattan. The bus stop locations vary, but most of the popular lines can be accessed near major hubs like the Journal Square Transportation Center. Board the bus heading towards Manhattan and get off at the closest stop to 14th Street, which is usually near 8th Avenue. After disembarking, walk east on 14th Street until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left on 7th Avenue and head south until you reach West 12th Street. Turn right onto West 12th Street, and Cubbyhole will be at 281 W 12th St.
Walking
If you're already in Jersey City and prefer walking, head towards the waterfront area and follow the pedestrian paths leading to the PATH train station or ferry terminal. You can also take a leisurely walk through the streets, heading towards the Hudson River, find a way to cross over to Manhattan at the nearest ferry or PATH station. Once you are on the Manhattan side, follow the directions listed under the PATH Train option.
