Bus
From Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. You can catch the 190 or 84 bus towards New York City. Stay on the bus until you reach the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at the terminal, follow the signs to the subway station and take the A, C, or E train downtown. Get off at 14th Street and 8th Avenue station. From there, walk approximately 6 minutes west along 14th Street until you reach W 12th Street. Turn left on W 12th Street, and you will find Cubbyhole at 281 W 12th St.
Train
Head to the Paterson train station and take the NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Get off at Secaucus Junction, and transfer to a train heading to New York Penn Station. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit and walk to the 34th Street subway station. Take the A or C train downtown, and get off at 14th Street and 8th Avenue. Walk approximately 6 minutes west along 14th Street until you reach W 12th Street. Turn left on W 12th Street, and you will find Cubbyhole at 281 W 12th St.
Walking
If you are staying in Paterson's downtown area, you can walk to the NJ Transit bus terminal, then catch a bus to New York City as mentioned above. Alternatively, if you prefer a longer walk, you could walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus to NYC. This option is not recommended due to distance and safety.
