    From your location in Jersey City, head to the PATH train station. The closest station is likely the Journal Square station. Board a PATH train heading towards 33rd Street. Once you arrive at 33rd Street, transfer to the 'A' or 'C' subway lines at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Take the 'A' train towards Rockaway and get off at the Jay St-MetroTech station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Fort Greene Park. Exit the station and head southeast on Jay Street toward Willoughby Street. Continue straight onto Fort Greene Place, and you'll see the park on your right.

  • Bus

    Start by finding a local NJ Transit bus stop, preferably near your accommodation. Take bus number 87 towards Brooklyn. The bus will take you across the Hudson River and into Brooklyn. Get off at the DeKalb Avenue & South Portland Avenue stop. Once you disembark, Fort Greene Park will be right in front of you. Simply walk to the entrance to enjoy the park.

From there, switch to the 'B' or 'Q' train towards Brighton Beach and get off at the DeKalb Avenue station. Fort Greene Park is a short walk from the station—head northeast on DeKalb Avenue, and you'll soon see the park entrance.
