Public Transportation
From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station located at Journal Square. Purchase a ticket to World Trade Center Station. Board the train and travel for approximately 20 minutes until you reach World Trade Center Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk towards the Oculus. From there, head to the nearby subway station and take the 2 or 3 train towards Brooklyn. After a few stops, get off at Clark Street station. Exit the station and walk towards the Brooklyn Heights promenade, which is a short 5-minute walk away.

Ferry
Make your way to the Jersey City waterfront where you can catch the NY Waterway ferry. Board the ferry heading towards Brooklyn. Enjoy the scenic ride across the water, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Brooklyn ferry terminal, you will be just a short walk from Brooklyn Heights. Head east on the main street and follow signs towards Brooklyn Heights and the promenade.

Locate a local NJ Transit bus stop in Jersey City. Take the NJ Transit bus number 119 towards New York. After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive, walk to the nearby subway station and take the 2 or 3 train towards Brooklyn. Get off at Clark Street station and from there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Brooklyn Heights area.
