    From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Take the Metro-North New Haven Line train towards Grand Central Terminal. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the 42nd Street - Grand Central Station. From there, transfer to the 4 or 5 subway line (green lines) heading towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Borough Hall station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the Brooklyn Heights area.

    From Greenwich, you can catch the CT Transit bus route 10 at the Greenwich Avenue stop. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes and get off at the Stamford Train Station. From Stamford, transfer to the Metro-North New Haven Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 42nd Street - Grand Central Station. From there, take the 4 or 5 subway line towards Brooklyn and get off at the Borough Hall station. Walk towards the Brooklyn Heights area to reach your destination.

    While there is no direct ferry from Greenwich to Brooklyn, you can take a ferry from nearby Port Chester, NY. To get there, take the Metro-North New Haven Line train from Greenwich to Port Chester (about 20 minutes). From Port Chester, board a ferry heading towards the NYC area, then transfer to the subway at any terminal in Manhattan. Take the subway to Brooklyn and get off at the Borough Hall station. Walk towards the Brooklyn Heights area to reach the Center for Brooklyn History.
