Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Journal Square PATH station, exit the station and head south on John F. Kennedy Blvd. Continue straight for three blocks until you reach the intersection with Newark Ave. Turn left onto Newark Ave and walk for about two blocks. At the intersection with Summit Ave, turn right and continue walking until you reach LaPointe Park, which will be on your left.

Public Transit - Bus
From the Grove Street PATH station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located at the intersection of Grove St and Montgomery St. Take the NJ Transit bus number 87 towards Journal Square. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of Summit Ave and Grand St. From there, walk a short distance south along Summit Ave, and you will find LaPointe Park on your right.

If you are near the Liberty State Park area, start by heading west on Morris Pesin Drive. Continue walking until you reach the end of the park and then make a right onto Liberty State Park Road. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Summit Ave. Turn left and walk north on Summit Ave for about 15 minutes until you arrive at LaPointe Park on your left.

From the Harborside Light Rail station, board the light rail heading towards 8th St. / Hoboken. Get off at the West Side Avenue station. Upon exiting, head north on West Side Ave for about 15 minutes. Once you reach the intersection with Summit Ave, turn left and continue walking until you reach LaPointe Park, which will be on your right.
