    From any location in Jersey City, make your way to the PATH train station. The closest stations are Exchange Place or Journal Square. Purchase a ticket to the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. Once on the PATH train, it will take approximately 15 minutes to reach your destination. Upon arrival at the World Trade Center station, follow the signs to the Oculus and exit onto Church Street. Walk north on Church Street until you reach the intersection with Canal Street.

  • BUS

    Find the nearest NJ Transit bus stop in Jersey City. You can take the NJ Transit Bus #87 or #119 which goes towards New York City. Ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Canal Street. Once off the bus, head east on Canal Street until you reach 133 Canal St, where the Mahayana Temple is located.

  • FERRY

    Make your way to the Liberty State Park ferry terminal in Jersey City. Take the ferry to Manhattan, which will drop you off at Battery Park. From Battery Park, head northeast to the corner of State Street and Broadway. Continue walking northeast until you reach Canal Street. Turn left on Canal Street and walk until you arrive at 133 Canal St.

  • WALKING

    If you are already in the vicinity of the waterfront in Jersey City, you can walk to the Mahayana Temple. Head towards the Hudson River and walk along the waterfront until you reach the nearest PATH train station (Exchange Place or Newport). From there, you can take the PATH train as described above.
