PATH Train
To reach 5th Ave in New York City from Jersey City, start by heading to the PATH train station closest to you. If you're in downtown Jersey City, the Exchange Place PATH station is recommended. Board a train heading towards World Trade Center. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, follow the signs to the exit. After exiting, you'll be in the vicinity of the Oculus and the 9/11 Memorial. From here, walk north towards Church Street and follow it until you reach Fulton Street. Turn right onto Fulton Street and then take a left onto Broadway. Continue walking north on Broadway until you reach 5th Avenue.

If you prefer taking a bus, you can catch a NJ Transit bus from Jersey City to New York City. The bus stop is usually near major intersections. Check the NJ Transit schedule for routes heading to Port Authority Bus Terminal. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Port Authority, walk east towards 8th Avenue and then take a right on 42nd Street. Continue walking east on 42nd Street until you reach 5th Avenue.

For a scenic route, consider taking a ferry from Jersey City to New York. Head to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal. You can take the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to the Liberty State Park station, which is a short walk from the terminal. Board the ferry heading towards Battery Park City. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline, lasting about 30 minutes. After disembarking at Battery Park, walk north along State Street, and then turn right onto 5th Avenue.
