PATH Train
From Jersey City, head to the nearest PATH train station, which is either the Journal Square or Exchange Place station. Purchase a ticket to the World Trade Center station in Manhattan. Board a train heading towards 33rd Street. After approximately 10-15 minutes, disembark at the World Trade Center station. From there, walk north on Church Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Canal Street. Turn right onto Canal Street and continue walking east for about 0.5 miles until you reach Broadway. The Ayer Building will be on your left at 599 Broadway.

Make your way to the Liberty State Park ferry terminal in Jersey City. Purchase a ticket for the ferry heading to Battery Park in Manhattan. The ferry ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Battery Park, exit the terminal and walk north on State Street for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Broadway and continue walking for another 0.3 miles. The Ayer Building will be on your right at 599 Broadway.

Find a NJ Transit bus stop in Jersey City and board a bus heading towards New York City, specifically one that stops at Port Authority Bus Terminal. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Port Authority, exit the terminal and walk east on 42nd Street towards Times Square. Turn left onto 7th Avenue and head south for about 0.4 miles. Turn right onto Broadway and continue walking for another 0.2 miles until you reach 599 Broadway, where the Ayer Building is located.
