If you're starting from the Journal Square PATH station, board a PATH train heading towards World Trade Center. After approximately 10 minutes, disembark at the Exchange Place station. From there, you can transfer to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail by following the signs to the light rail platform. Take the light rail towards 8th Street and get off at the Marin Boulevard station. Once you exit the station, head south on Marin Boulevard, then take a right onto Montgomery Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Ward - Heppenheimer Mansion located at 297 Montgomery St.

If you are near Liberty State Park, you can walk to the Ward - Heppenheimer Mansion. Start by heading east towards Morris Pesin Drive and follow it until you reach the park entrance. Enter the park and continue walking north until you see Montgomery Street. Turn left onto Montgomery Street and walk for about 10 minutes. The mansion will be on your left at 297 Montgomery St.

From the Jersey City Heights area, you can take the NJ Transit bus number 87 towards Journal Square. Get off at the stop on Montgomery Street and 2nd Street. From there, it’s a short walk of about 3 minutes. Head east on Montgomery Street, and the Ward - Heppenheimer Mansion will be on your right at 297 Montgomery St.
