Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Jersey City PATH Station, exit the station and head towards the main street, which is called Newark Avenue. Turn right onto Newark Avenue and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Montgomery Street. Turn left onto Montgomery Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. At this point, you will be at the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. Follow the walkway to your right (south) for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Jersey City 9-11 Memorial located along the pathway.

    If you are near the Marin Boulevard Light Rail Station, board the Light Rail heading toward 34th Street. Get off at the Harborside Terminal station. Exit the terminal and walk towards the Hudson River. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and walk along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway for about 15-20 minutes. The Jersey City 9-11 Memorial will be on your left along the walkway.

  • Bus

    From the Journal Square Transportation Center, take the NJ Transit Bus #87 towards the Exchange Place. Get off at the Exchange Place stop. After exiting, walk towards the waterfront area.
