To get to Portal Down to Old New York from Jersey City, start by heading to the nearest PATH station. If you're near the Jersey City waterfront, the Exchange Place PATH station is a good option. Take the PATH train towards World Trade Center. The ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the World Trade Center station, follow the signs to exit the station onto Church Street.

After exiting the PATH station, walk south on Church Street until you reach the intersection with Liberty Street. Turn left onto Liberty Street and continue walking until you hit the Hudson River. From there, you can enjoy beautiful views of the water. Continue walking along Liberty Street until reaching the intersection with Pearl Street. Turn right onto Pearl Street, and you will find Portal Down to Old New York at 63 Pearl St, New York, NY 10004.

Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Jersey City to Manhattan. Head to the Liberty State Park ferry terminal. Board the ferry towards Battery Park City. The ride will be scenic and take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Battery Park City terminal, exit and walk north along the waterfront. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection of West Street and Liberty Street. Turn left onto Liberty Street and then right onto Pearl Street to arrive at Portal Down to Old New York.
