Take Route 9 North and continue until you see signs for Route 440. Merge onto Route 440 North, following signs for Perth Amboy. Continue on Route 440 for approximately 10 miles, then take the exit towards Perth Amboy. Merge onto Kearny Avenue. The Proprietary House will be on your right at 149 Kearny Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Parking is typically available along the street, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

At Newark, transfer to the North Jersey Coast Line heading towards Bay Head. Disembark at the Perth Amboy station. From the station, you can either walk or take a local bus to Kearny Avenue. If walking, head southwest on Amboy Avenue toward Kearny Avenue, then turn left onto Kearny Avenue. The Proprietary House is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.
