Getting There

Walking
From Lambertville, head south on N Main St toward Bridge St. Continue onto Bridge St and cross the Delaware River via the bridge. Once you cross into New Hope, PA, keep straight onto W Bridge St. Follow W Bridge St until it turns into S Main St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with W Mechanic St. Turn right on W Mechanic St, then left at the first cross street onto W Ferry St. Follow W Ferry St until you reach the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad station. Here, you can catch a train to Philadelphia. Check the train schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at Philadelphia's station, exit and follow signs to the Market St exit. After exiting, walk east on Market St for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Independence Visitor Center at 599 Market St.

From Lambertville, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Lambertville Public Library on N Main St. Board the NJ Transit Bus #629 towards Trenton. Upon arrival at Trenton, transfer to the NJ Transit Train to Philadelphia. Get off at the Philadelphia station and exit toward the city. Walk east on Market St for about 10-15 minutes, and you will arrive at the Independence Visitor Center located at 599 Market St.
