Public Bus
From Paterson, go to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop. Take the NJ Transit Bus #190 towards New York Port Authority. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop at the intersection of 42nd St and 8th Ave in Manhattan. From there, transfer to the subway and take the A train towards Far Rockaway. Get off at the High St station, then walk towards the Brooklyn Bridge. Follow the signs to Brooklyn Bridge Park, which is located near the waterfront.

Head to the Paterson Train Station and take a NJ Transit train on the Main Line towards Hoboken. Disembark at Secaucus Junction (2 stops). From Secaucus, transfer to the NJ Transit train to New York Penn Station. Once at Penn Station, take the subway by catching the A train towards Far Rockaway. Get off at High St and walk towards the Brooklyn Bridge, following signs to Brooklyn Bridge Park.
