    From downtown Paterson, walk to the nearest NJ Transit bus stop located at 1 Market Street. Take the NJ Transit Bus #11 towards New York Port Authority. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Disembark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, walk to 8th Avenue and catch the A, C, or E subway train downtown towards Brooklyn. Exit the subway at West 4th Street Station. From the station, walk west on West 3rd Street, then turn left onto Christopher Street. Continue walking until you reach Christopher Park, located at 38-64 Christopher St.

  • Train

    From Paterson Station, board a NJ Transit train heading to New York Penn Station. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Penn Station, exit the train and follow the signs to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines. Take the subway downtown on the 1 line towards South Ferry. Get off at Christopher Street-Sheridan Square Station. Upon exiting the station, walk east on Christopher Street until you reach Christopher Park, located at 38-64 Christopher St.

    If you're close to the Paterson Museum, you can walk to the Passaic River. Head south on Market Street, then turn left onto McBride Avenue, which leads you to the riverfront. Walk along the river until you reach Main Street. From there, continue south to the NJ Transit bus terminal. Take the NJ Transit Bus #11 towards New York Port Authority, and follow the same bus instructions provided above to reach Christopher Park.
