From Paterson, head to the nearest NJ Transit train station, which is the Paterson Station. You can take a local bus or walk to the station. Once at the Paterson Station, purchase a ticket to New York Penn Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at New York Penn Station, exit the station and walk to 34th Street.

From New York Penn Station, exit onto 8th Avenue and turn left. Walk along 34th Street until you reach the intersection with 7th Avenue. Turn right onto 7th Avenue and continue walking for two blocks until you reach 35th Street. Turn left onto 35th Street, and you will find Monarch Rooftop at 71 W 35th St on your left.

Bus
From Paterson, you can also take a NJ Transit bus to New York City. Board the #161 or #167 bus heading toward New York Port Authority. After arriving at the Port Authority, walk east on 42nd Street until you reach 7th Avenue. Turn left and walk down to 35th Street. Turn left again, and you will find Monarch Rooftop at 71 W 35th St on your left.
